The Olympics have been going on for the past week and a half, and I absolutely love the Olympics. It doesn’t matter what, I think watching them is amazing. Sadly during the day time, they do not donate as much coverage to them as they do at night. There are more commercials, more breaks for sports casters to talk about the athletes with each other. Really all I want is to watch people with super human abilities, even if it’s a random sport like archery.
Since no good sports were coming on the TV, Michelle and I have retired to Starbucks to finish up our afternoon work. We took our voyage early today, and went to Viva Chicken for lunch (I will definitely be going back).
Before our adventure, I spent the morning making all of the Scoop content up to date. Since Michelle leaves for Europe Saturday, she wants to have all the content scheduled so that Susu can post it while she’s away. I’ve been going though what posts to assign to the Instagram and making sure current articles are published twice in a two week span.
My afternoon assignment is creating a bumper sticker and a car magnet for Fundanoodle! Obviously the designing part is my favorite, but sadly wherever the company is that we are ordering the products from can only make the stickers rectangular, so that constricts the creative ideas.
This is my last week coming in to work for Michelle, after this Thursday I’ll be doing work from home! And while she’s away I’ll keep working on posting Scoop content, and I have two articles I get to write! When Michelle gets back hopefully she will have some design projects for me to do for Charlotte Warehouse Sale or Fundanoodle.
At (almost) this time next week i’ll be going to my first VCOM 262 web design course, and I don’t think I’ve ever been so nervous for a class. This course is all about coding for websites and after working on WordPress all summer I hope my skills are still up to date, but either way this is the one class I know I’ll spend the most time working on.
People say summer goes by so fast, but personally I think it went slow, and I like that. After this summer, I can truthfully say that I would more than happy spending the rest of my life in this occupation. And after I’m done working for a company, I would love to be a professor on the subject. School never seems that bad when you have the best classes.
